The MSME Department, Government of Odisha, on May 30, 2026, notified that a comprehensive directory of testing facilities available across the State has been prepared and uploaded on the Department’s official website under the Deregulation 2.0 framework. The initiative is aimed at improving accessibility to testing infrastructure and supporting regulatory simplification and ease of doing business.
The directory provides information on testing facilities available in Odisha and is intended for use by enterprises, start-ups, academic institutions, industry associations, and other stakeholders requiring testing and certification services. The centralized availability of such information is expected to reduce search costs, improve compliance efficiency, and facilitate industrial growth within the State.
The Department has further stated that the directory will be updated periodically to ensure that stakeholders have access to current information on available testing facilities. This measure forms part of the State’s broader efforts to promote business facilitation, transparency, and industrial development through the Deregulation 2.0 initiative.
